End to the Beginning
This poem is about a huge turn in my life....that took place last year. Unfinished!

Tired and weary....
My soul is aching....
Every inch of me screaming...
The world around is crashing down before me...
Foundation apon which I stood is crumbling...
I fall to my knees I can't move....
I can't breath....
Where is my life?
Almost lifeless eyes gaze upward....
Darkness begins slowly setting in....
An icey breeze brushes up againest skin leaving it cold and numb...
Confusion brings forth it's delusions....
Dancing, twirling and swirling before my eyes...
Drifting far away from reality....
Can't seem to see I'm lying in a bed of lies....
Covered with a shroud of guilt...
Being buried in mindless worry and despair...
Is this thee end?
A simple act of mercy....
Paid in full with a sacrifice.
To end my suffering....
You gave up your life.
To right my wrongs...
Count them all undone...
Loved me for who I was even when I felt I nolonger knew myself...
Surely as the world would forsake me you never did...
Through the troubled times when I thought this was it you stayed vigil at my side.
When most would of run afraid to fall beside me you picked me up into your arms..
Brought me unto solid land.....
You breathed in me the breath of life....
A new beginning...
Reborn....
As I open my eyes I see light...
