The Children of Tomorrow
"Her..friends..a hard-to-break habit,/While..video games enliven his mood"

This item requires reviews with ratings.
Those brown, playful, googly eyes
And those rosy-colored, glossy lips
Accentuate that gargantuan size
And make us smile while doing back flips…

That curly, dark hair in a bun,
With arms and legs the size of toothpicks,
Make us so sure he’ll eat and run,
While developing more computer tricks.

One’s eating like an overgrown rabbit,
While the other’s skinny and had enough food –
Her loyal friends are a hard-to-break habit,
While his video games enliven his mood.

The tricks of a trade, they may never guess,
Or the lessons learned from a college degree,
Could lead to great riches and gains, more or less –
And more extravagant goals for the world to see…

This future enhanced by the kids of tomorrow,
With their forthright ownership and steely command,
Will showcase the genes that might fill us with sorrow,
During these years where we currently stand.
