“Don’t believe everything you hear, Tyrone ” Moonhawk whispered to her cellmate, holding his gaze with her deep blue eyes .

“What do you mean?” Tyrone asked, his eyes widening.

“Just trust me, no matter what I say, know I’m here to help. Your father has hired me to find and rescue you.”

“I’d rather die than return to him.”

“That’s your choice, mine is clear…get you out of here.”

“He wants me dead, I’m…”

“Silence, they approach; I swore an oath to my god, before your father, I will protect you from any harm. Trust that if nothing else.”

“Did he talk?”

“You doubt my skills?”

“No.”

“Good answer,” Moonhawk replied, “the rebels are in what you call section four area seven? I will take him for further questioning.”

“You cannot, he is to remain here.”

“I was given full authority to do as I pleased, it pleases me to take him for questioning.”

“I do not believe that you…”

“What was your name again?”” Moonhawk demanded. “I was brought in to get information, if you choose not to allow me to do so, I would like to report the person that stopped me from doing so.”

“You’re the specialist?”

“I’ve been called that,” Moonhawk confirmed, marching out with Tyrone

“You found him, how can I repay you?”

“You can pay my fee.”

“Here,” he said, tossing a bag of coins toward the young elf, she caught them deftly.

“That’s enough to hire me,” she said tossing the pouch to Tyrone.

“I hire you to protect me.”

“I’m duty bound to accept.” Moonhawk said, with a smile.

The dragon swooped down low, causing the castles defenders to panic .

Moonhawk smiled, “ don’t believe everything you see, either,” she said as the pair escaped the city.
