Life so dark here in the park
without laughter in a bed of nails bruised the veins so red bleeding in me, a wayward child hiding beneath the moon weeping eyes defiled in this hell of darkness - Peace with dreams trapped by evil thoughts forced to give what I had lost the love in me sharing tears with such woman as these, their fear of living to die alone in years forgotten now - I held their hands feeling what I couldn’t, beaten bruised and broken that used to be a beautiful woman seeing myself with laughter in the mirror - My father would have cursed to see him there lying hurting me the stranger in the park, my life wasted in tears hiding away with hope too long in coming crying in my sleep - The teenage girl in my Mother’s arms her eyes so blue a hue, pretty like the morning dew my cheeks all red and blushing, hearing her voice calling me home in Heaven. "No need to cry before our Savior who died for you to live, the child born in me free from sin - My prayer for you and woman such as these who comforted you in the dark. God have mercy in this madness evil in man sexually abusing woman."
