My ode to TS Elliot
Cat Typing

How ignorant was my master
When he sat me at the keys
He did it as a drunken joke
Which made him very pleased

He put up upon his lap
Placed my paws upon the pad
Then pounded them upon it
Which made me very mad

I’ll show this fool
I thought to him
And thus I typed away
I typed this verse
And twenty more
While master faded away

My master now has
Many fans
His poems they
Are the best
And all the human
Virtuosos say
They are better than
The rest

I now must
Confess the truth
There is no doubt
Of that
All the poems
Every one
Were written by
This cat
