A poem about making that jump into love.

Bring a little light from where you are,
Shine it upon the path to my heart.
Don't let the first peek scare you away,
Take another look, and please do stay.

Something different around every bend,
But there's nothing there you cannot mend.
If you are here for the real thing,
I cannot promise what it will bring.

Surely you see that it's not perfect,
But in the end it just may be worth it.
Just be careful of the steps you take,
For the path is rugged, but you will not break.

Once you make your way through it all,
You'll find yourself facing a tremendous fall.
When you jump, and I hope you do,
Just know I am doing the same for you.
