Good Thief
Time to stop pointing fingers. I am the guilty one.

It’s so easy
To blame someone else for pain,
To take the taunter’s side
To apply “if” to anyone
Besides myself.

But if I’m to die beside You,
Hanging condemned and crucified
By the very ones You are died for,
Then remind me
That I am no victim.
I want to be
The good thief.
