OUTSIDE HOUSTON, TEXAS: MAY 09, 2500: 11:04 PM
Sergeant Daniels knew that if Criminal 82204 would escape them this time, he probably wouldn’t be found for a long while. He got out of his car with his laser pistol ready. Deputy Niel Brown and his assistant stepped out their patrol car, pistols ready as well. “Stay where you are!” Daniels shouted to the criminal. “Why’re you guys chasin’ me? I did nothin’ that bad!” the criminal shouted back. “You’re wanted due to 3 arsons, and 2 murders. Don’t move! I don’t want to shoot you!” Daniels warned. The prisoner didn’t obey. He ran into the corn field behind the narrow road. The law enforcers ran forward, and when they reached a small tunnel in the cornfield, they stopped. “Did he go down there?” Daniels asked. A green light and scream came from the tunnel. “That’s the criminal, but what was the light?” Niels asked. Daniels crouched down, and crawled into the tunnel. Niels and his assistant followed. They stopped at the exit, looking down at the two story drop. “Maybe our criminal accidentally killed himself?” Brown’s assistant suggested. There were several tubes of green liquid, and a large device that looked like a plate. “It looks like somebody is making drugs,” Daniels muttered to himself. There was another green flash, and another scream. After a few moments, they saw the criminal being lifted into the plate device by 3 green humanoids in brown uniforms. “What… is this?” Niels whispered. The humanoids tossed Criminal 82204 in the device, which seemed to be a large furnace of some kind. “Are these really——-aliens?” A brawnier one walked up to the device. “Is everything proceeding as planned, doctor?” “A native species has walked in. He is being destroyed in our disintigration chamber.” Daniels didn’t like the sound of that. “Have you contacted Virolvv about the superweapon?” the man asked. “We only need technology. Our only problem is that our manufacturers aren’t doing their job. Nevertheless, I’ve found a location on Earth that specializes in technology. A group of islands known as Japan,” the doctor had said. The other alien looked to the location of the tunnel, and saw the three. He pointed to them, and alerted some men. “Intruders! Bring them back here to be disintigrated, or take them out yourself!” The aliens were moving at an alarming rate. One wearing a blue plate on their arm led the men. The three ran back to their vehicles. By the time that the aliens reached the exit of the tunnel, the three were in their cars, starting them. The three soon zoomed off into the night. “Sergeant!” his communicator device shouted. “Where are they?” The man with the blue arm-plate responded. “They took off. We don’t know where they are.” “Find them Yvin. If anybody receives word on our attack, you’ll be experiencing the disintegration chamber!” Yvin gulped. “Yes sir.” Daniels, Niels, and his assistant stopped at a Get ‘n’ Go. “Do you think they followed us?” Niel asked. “Don’t know. We must alert the president. He will speak to the leader of Japan,” Daniels said. “They won’t believe us!” Niels’s assistant stated. “It is worth a shot! Whatever their superweapon is, it needs to be stopped!” Daniels exclaimed. “How will we get to D.C. from Houston? We don’t have mach train tickets!” Niel said. “You guys might not like this idea, but we might have to sneak onboard.” Yvin and two other men placed on realistic-looking human masks, as they walked into the city. They had broken into an army facility on the way without leaving a trace behind but a missing military vehicle. They pulled into Houston, until they reached a checking station. “Sorry. No weapons are aloud past the inspection!” the computer had said. “Military training!” is all Yvin had said, and the computer let them pass. “Where would they be?” Yvin asked his men. “Maybe they are trying to tell the Japanese government about the invasion,” one suggested. Yvin heard his communicator buzz. “Commander. What is it?” “Don’t search for them anymore. We will begin our attack on Japan at nightfall.” “Umm… yes sir.” TOKYO, JAPAN: MAY 10, 2500: 7:44 AM Masiyoshi Kozumi, the leader of Japan, had finished getting out of a meeting, when his aide, Soyoko ran up to him, with a device. “What is it?” he asked her. “Warning message! Aliens!” Masiyoshi walked into his office, and played the message. A green-skinned humanoid appeared on the hologram. “Masiyoshi Kozumi. We wish for your country’s technological building skills. We will be coming in around 4 Earth hours to invade. If you do not surrender, we will wipe out the population of Japan, and we will enslave all of your manufacturers. However, if you do surrender, Japan will be spared from the destruction of Earth. Out!” “Destruction of Earth. I must inform our greatest allies.” WASHINGTON D.C., UNITED STATES: MAY 10, 2500: 8:22 AM President James Dickson looked at his holoreceiver at the live conversation between him, the leader of China, the leader of Canada, Australia, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Germany, North and South Korea, and India. “Aliens are coming to destroy Earth, and invade Japan. I need all of your help!” “The recording you just showed us could’ve been a fake,” leader of Germany, Jan-Dirk Winkler pointed out. “I agree with Winkler,” Dickson said. “What proof do you have that this is isn’t a phony?” Three men slammed the doors of Dickson’s office open. Before he could call security, one of them said. “We saw them ourselves.” “Who are you, exactly?” leader of China, Xiaolun Fuga asked. “We’re law enforcers from Houston, Texas. There is a small base out there!” “That is not enough proof! Do you have anything to show us?” North Korean leader, Kyu-Hook Bokai asked. “We don’t,” one of them admitted, “but why would we come all the way to D.C. for a hoax? Mach train tickets are pretty expensive!” Masiyoshi broke the arguement. “If more than one country agrees that these aliens exist, I think it is worth the risk of losing money,” he said. Dickson glared at the three. “They do have a point. I guess I’m in this fight.” All of the leaders agreed to join the fight, but Dickson added. “If they do not arrive, these three will be prosecuted!” TOKYO, JAPAN: MAY 10, 2500: 12:03 PM There were 100 men from each of the nations in the capital of Tokyo. These hid behind buildings. Masiyoshi stood near the docks, where the enemy ships would arrive. At last, the ships came into view, and stopped at the docks. One thousand aliens came from each of the 3 boats, followed by a man with a blue arm plate and one with a red arm plate. The one with the red arm plate walked forward. “Masiyoshi Kozumi. Are you ready to surrender your land to the Kazinites?” “I need to know your authority before I answer that!” Masiyoshi exclaimed. “I am Commander Lolcos of Virolvv’s army. Is that enough authority?” “Yes, Commander. It is enough authority for my answer. The country of Japan would like to… attack!” The hidden men sprang out, firing at the enemy. “It was a foolish mistake of you to have declined my offer,” Lolcos said, pulling out a sword. “One of my men is equal to ten of yours! You are outnumbered, and outmatched.” Masiyoshi ducked from the first slash of Lolcos’s sword. “Maybe unlike your homeplanet, Earth sticks together. Tell Virolvv that if he wants to destroy Earth, he’ll have to go through everyone for one country.” Lolcos laughed, swinging his sword again. “Kazin is much larger and much more populous than your tiny little planet. You’ll always be outnumbered.” Masiyoshi ducked, running towards his men. Lolcos put his sword back in its holder, and walked over to his men. “Yvin! Get the men into attack sequence 102B. We’ll need to get past them.” The aliens moved into a triangle formation, and walked forward, firing at their enemies. The Japanese resistance brought a tank forward, firing at the aliens." “Shields!” Lolcos shouted. Ten men standing from behind the triangle activated some devices, which released a large blue shield over them. The tank fire has disintigrated from the shield. Masiyoshi turned to James. “Where is your air force?” James turned his communicator on. “Captain Kyle, where are you?” “We’re flying just above China. We’ll be by in about 2 minutes!” Kyle responded. “You should’ve been here 10 minutes ago. What’s the holdup?” “Enemy fighters! They must have anticipated an air strike!” James swore. “Are the tanks we issued on the way?” “No. Our transport plane, TRA-03 was shot down,” Kyle stated. “How many fighters are left?” James asked. “I count 20. We started out with fifty, and lost 44. We only have 6 men including me!” “Forget about your normal route. Fly to the Himalayas and come back North! Trust me! These aliens don’t know Earth like we do!” Kyle spoke into his primary communicator. “Fighters AO-2, AO-3, BT-38, BT-N1, and CC-K, head South to the Himalayas!” Kyle commanded. “Are you crazy! We’ll get destroyed there!” pilot of the AO-3 shouted. “Earth is different than their homeplanet. They don’t know the Himalayas!” “I hope you’re right.” After ten minutes of being shot at, the squadron of 6 fighters reached the Himalayas, with the enemies on their tails. “CC-K! Release your smokescreen!” The fighter pilot obeyed. Smoke poured out on 4 fighters behind him. The pilots of those alien fighters couldn’t see, and dived out of the smoke, directly into a large mountain. Soon after the smokescreen, 2 more confused alien pilots also crashed. “AO-3! How many do you see?” Kyle asked. “I only see 12 left. One of them is the fighter captain!” “Fly low! It might be risky, but it’s more risky for them!” Kyle demanded. The 6 human fighters dived to the lower mountains. “We lost BT-N1!” BT-38 had exclaimed. “But look! The destruction of our comrade had destroyed 4 more! There are only 8 left!” Captain N’olas of the alien fighters looked at his attack screen. There were 5 red blips and 8 green blips. “Status!” Commander Lolcos shouted from his communicator. “We are flying in a long mountain range to stop five enemy fighters. We…” “Well turn around. A squadron of 3 more enemy fighters is getting close to Japan!” “Turn around men!” N’olas shouted in his communicator. Kyle looked behind him. The aliens were turning around. “Now’s our chance to shoot at them! Follow them!” The fighters followed the enemy, firing, and destroying several of the enemy. Only 4 of the enemy remained. All 9 of the fighters exited the Himalayas. “We need to stop those fighters!” Kyle shouted. A welcoming voice of more fighters came through his communicator. “We are in the vicinity.” Soon, all the enemy fighters were trapped between the old and new human fighters. All were shot down, and they headed to Japan. “Captain! Captain!” he turned to Yvin. “N’olas has failed. Now enemy fighters are on the way!” “Then we must evacuate. We won’t win with no sky brigade!” “Agreed. We’ll find a way to get the technology we need aboard our secret weapon,” Lolcos said, then shouted, “Retreat!” All the aliens ran back to the boats. The boats then transformed into a weird orb-like ship, and blasted into space. James looked up. “They’ll be back. I’m sure. But it might not be for a while.” UNKNOWN LOCATION, SPACE Lolcos and Yvin walked to Virolvv’s throne room. The hooded Kazinite looked up. “You have conquered Japan?” “Their forces were surprisingly strong. However, some of our men managed to take something valuable to the people of Earth. We have taken three innocent children.” “What is the role of these children?” Virolvv asked. “We’ll make a deal. We’ll kill these children, unless they give us what we need.” Virolvv looked down again. “Their lives mean nothing to us. Record your message as soon as possible, Commander.”
