True love comes but once, or so they all say; we get just one chance, before it flies away. To find it can seem a futile endeavor, and even once found, to keep it together. The battle is hard, it strikes fast and deep, shadows come whisper, dark lies do they reap. The heart tries to hide, the mind becomes lost, but love flies back 'round, no matter the cost. Emotion surpassed, a choice it becomes, how long will it last? A lifetime for some. 'Cause love is one thing, which can't be suppressed, yes, I've seen through faith; true love does not rest.
