Inspired by The Museum of Art and Design...and a dead beetle.

Dead or Alive

the museum of art and design
has a show called
dead or alive.
i didn't see it.
what i saw was a beetle.
dead
but once alive.

i love my dead beetle
more lively in death
than most in life.
he glows green
a vivid patina

hides underneath.
only seen on close
inspection,
and possibly only after death.
a true artist.
