What a Fabulous Grip We Have
Going from happy to sad, and back to happy - a poem.

This item requires reviews with ratings.
With cheerful confidence, sweet laughter, and customary zeal,
We might astound others while advancing to the successful conclusion
Or highly sought-after place we so humbly envision.
But much of this dubious assurance is bone-picking, patented mettle
And humongous risk-taking in which mistakes can prove costly
To our innate sense of worth and self-reliance,
And draw us closer to the mortal self-doubt
Of the much heralded Shakespearean tragedies.
But the shores, peaks, and valleys we call home
Promise us the convenient rest and enlivened surroundings
By which we may lick our ungodly wounds,
And during these emotional and caring times
Regain the coveted flair and enduring passion,
And believe that the sun is rising on yet
Another lovely, crisp, and rewarding day…
