Persian:  Dilam zeensaan keh zaar o mubtila shud
              Az aan naamehrbaan e baiwafa shud
Urdu:      Karay jo qalb zaar o mubtila hay
              Wo ik naamehrbaan e baiwafa hay
                                     
English:=== The one for whom I'm so lovesick
                  She is cruel, and callous, and a heartless chick         
                                          -

Persian:  Mabaad az aah e kas aan ro ra khoo
              Agarcheh jaan e miskeenaan fana shud
Urdu:      Pasheemaan ho Khuda ya wo na zaalim
              Karay jo jaan e miskeenaan fana hay

English:=== O what she wants, may she always get
                  And may she never have to regret
                                          -

Persian:  Mara waqt e khushi boodast dar dil
              Musalmaanaan nadaanam ta kuja shud
Urdu:      But e kaafir rakhay hay shaad mujh ko
              Musalmaanoun khisaara is maen kya hay

English:=== And all those faithful, that infidel
                  May she always have them under the spell
                                              -

Persian:  Dam e sardam khizaan ra sikka nau zad
              Chaman baiberg o bulbul bainawa shud
Urdu:      Khizaan ghaaratgari kerti hay kaisi
              Chaman baiberg o bulbul bainawa hay

                  May he always cry, and moan, and wail

Persian:  Chira meenalad een murgh e chaman zaar
              Mager o neez az yaaraan juda shad
Urdu:      Karay murgh e chaman hay aah o naala 
              Lagay hay wo bhee yaaroun say juda hay

                  And may he yearn, and yearn, and yearn

Persian:  Makun bar KHUSRAV e dilkhasta joaray
              Ager o lutf e naakerda riha shud
Urdu:      Na ker jour o sitam KHUSRO pay itnay
              Rahi us maen na ab taab e jafa hay
