You are darkness, and I am light.
I live in the day and you in the night.
Light and darkness together, will never be a sight,
because things opposing each other, if put together, doesn’t seem right.

You have proven it to me that this wasn’t true.
I felt how the sun can shine in the night because of you.
Losing hope from the war, I was left alone without a clue,
Brushed away by you, I was forced to live a life that’s new.

All of a sudden, you have surprised me with a change.
Keeping yourself apart from me, but haven’t been staying outside my range.
Now it seems more like a play to me, and the sky is our stage.
Like Romeo and Juliet,
You’re Montague and I’m Capulet.

You’re once again living the life that you were used to,
ignoring me, as if even my name, you never knew.
You see me as if I'm just a commoner to you.
It broke my heart apart, pieces cut down into two.

Now it seems to me
that things between us might never be.
Was it just I who noticed how I was pushed aside by thee?
Or were you playing a game with me, a fantasy?

Maybe we really weren’t meant for each other,
with that, I hope I can find someone better,
someone who won’t give me up—a real fighter.
And for you I pray, that this decision of yours won’t have you regretting forever.
