Mine Forever
Entry - Crimson Twilight Contest August '10
Rated:
18+
by
This item requires reviews with ratings.
Only one entry per person per round - entries will be judged at the end of the month.
Entry does not have to follow a prompt, but following a prompt will reward extra surprises. If you use a prompt, make sure to indicate which one in your post or your item. (Yes, you can use more than one prompt!)
Poetry entered must have a dark theme: the darker, the better! (Dark romance is allowed... ex. vampires, etc.)
Entries must be poetry.
A poem may not exceed 80 lines.
New and old poetry welcome.
If for whatever reason there are less than 6 entries for a round, those who did enter will have their entries moved to the next round.
All ratings and case colors are allowed. Just make sure your posts are within the 13+ rating of this forum. In other words, no intros or titles can be above that rating.
Please post your entries in the forum using bitem format.
Form prompt: "The Huitain."  (Must use ABABBCBC format and contain EIGHT lines ONLY).
Subject prompt: Wolves
Remember: Using one of the above prompts can warrant an extra special prize: GPs, MBs, Awardicons, Sigs, etc. You are eligible to get an extra prize EVEN if you do not place in a round. I will reward based on effort and difficulty.

Mine Forever

By Indelibleink

Dusk is here - the moon guides our way
With a path of eternal light
Night's potential dwarfs that of day
As your neck welcomes my first bite
Others before me know this rite
A ritual questioned - never
Odd, that though we just met tonight
My love, you are mine - forever
