DON'T STOP BELIEVING IN ME

You turn away from me and I sense your pain,
what used to be will never quite be the same.
How did it happen and who told you the lies?
You choose to believe, I see it in your eyes.

Don't stop believing in me! You must know
that in your heart, I would never let you go.
My love is honest and I will be true to the end,
you are not only my lover, you are my friend.

The truth be known, I was never the one
who would be unfaithful, all said and done.
People will talk and people may mean well,
but driving us apart on the long road to hell.

You have to have faith, you have to know,
that whatever they say, I still love you so.
In your arms I am happy, in our love secure,
and in my heart, my love is strong and pure.

So whatever your hear, whatever you see,
whatever you do, don't stop believing in me.
Hold me close, don't let the love we have die,
whatever you may say, don't say goodbye.
