A friend sent me these photos of cross stitched items. I was fascinated by the detail and in this photo essay I will share the pic n poems as well as a brief commentary between each, and draw a conclusion in the end.
This is an incredible piece of work. Note how they look like real dogs. Yet these are the work of cross stitch and this is worthy of being highlighted in a photo essay along with the following items. Pay attention to the detail in each, then if you'd like read the poem, but most of all have fun with this, it's all beautiful.
Can you see the intricacy that goes into completing this. The heart is outlined in what looks like live roses and yet again it's cross stitch. Can you feel the texture of the flowers? They almost stand out and invite you to touch their heavenly petals. The next on is one of my favorites in this series. It is True Love.
Love forever. Have you found such a love beloved? Do you know the love that is forever and ever, with no reversal no easy road out? Do you know the love that lasts a life time? This is the love I have for Rhonda who has been my better half for the past 22 years. She is second only to the True Love found in Jesus as my Savior and Lord. That is agape love. A love that is unwarranted, unmerited, but freely given by the Lamb of God so that we might know the fellowship with the Father that was lost when we lived in sin and degradation. You are important to God; therefore you are important to me. You've heard this from me countless times if you've been even a casual observer of this portfolio, it's true and not a platitude, this is the proof in the pudding. Jesus, True Love, in the image of a love that lasts forever.
Finally beloved the most beautiful of them all. A simple Lotus flower floating on the pad in the water. Read the poem and feel your heart, mind, soul, and body relaxing as you take in the ride of the Lotus flower. If someone understands what the characters mean above the Lotus flower please let me know and I will edit this to reflect it's meaning. I'm thinking it's Chinese.
I pray you enjoyed this little trip down the road of some cross stitching and the impact it had on this writer. I pray that you were blessed by the pictures, poems and commentary between. Most of all I pray for you, beloved, who read this and receive the word the Lord intends for you to receive.
