Birth Of Day The sunrise, with its fiery crown, peeks from the belly of the night and spreads like a bloody stain - coloring dawn with light. A new day is born, yet unspoiled, and clings to Mother Earth. (A nonet has nine lines. The first line - nine syllables, the second line - eight syllables, the third - seven, etc... rhyming is optional.)
