Kind encounter
As I wandered through the thick gloomy forest, tired and timid, the sun started sinking rapid, and a veil of darkness fell quick. Afraid, lost, gripped by panic I started running, stumbling and the sounds of the wild frightened me more, making me frantic. Unaware, I was of what happened later. A warm glow greeted me when I awoke. The kind owner of the log cabin spoke words of care and warmth greater than those of my own kith and kin. Lucky I was, to meet a man of kindness in the middle of nowhere whose patience and acts of understanding inspire us to win the fierce battle against powers of darkness, deliver us from the clutches of desolation, nourish us with love and consolation, strengthen us with courage and confidence.
