We all need our Lord and our Savior,
We all need Someone who cares.
He tells us to seek the fellowship
Of Christians who’re willing to share
The love of our Father in Heaven
Poured out so freely on man.
His love has been given to all,
A part of Salvation’s plan.

To save us from Satan’s clutches,
He willingly died on the cross.
No greater love could He give us
Than to pay this ultimate cost.
He taught us to love our brothers
Though enemies some may have become.
We should not pay evil for evil.
Live at peace with all not just some.

Be patient in all your afflictions.
Share with God’s people in need.
Live in harmony with one another.
Be pure in your thoughts and deeds.
Faithfully keep His commandments.
Let joy fill each piece of your heart.
Give Jesus all of your burdens.
From His presence do not depart.

Be fed by His word daily,
So that you won’t be tempted by sin.
Do these things and pray without ceasing.
Give yourself both with out and within.
Enter His gates with Thanksgiving.
Enter His courts with your praise,
For He is Our Father in Heaven.
Serve Him gladly for all of your days.

Practice what you preach to others.
Live by example, don’t boast.
Let others see Jesus in all that you do.
Live each day to the uttermost.
For He has given today as a present,
Use it for good and be wise.
By winning lost souls for the Master
You’ll be given the ultimate prize.
