Lord, Keep Us Safe

Lord, keep us safe,
we often pray.
Your angels watch us
Through the night and day.

Please light the dark
That covers this land.
Keep us in the palm
Of your nail-scarred hand.

Cleanse us, Dear Lord,
White as the snow,
With Your precious blood.
You have loved us so!

Though all about
There’s evil and strife,
Your Words will guide us
On our path through life.

Through you, Oh Lord,
We’ve overcome sin.
Death has no sting,
For we’re born again.

Thank you, Father,
For this and more,
On Calvary’s cross
All our sins you bore.

And when this earth
Shall pass away
We’ll live forever
With You we will stay.
