*Heart* I Feel You *Heart*

I feel you in my molecules
Woven in every pulsing fiber of my heart
Like precious jewels firmly cemented to a weathered garden wall

You are the lead in all my casts of dreams
You festoon the halls of my subconscious with
The memory of your scent, your touch, your taste...

My nerve endings tingle with your presence,
Even when you are not present.
I crave the sound of your breathing,

Your eyes, like melted caramel
Over amber stones,
With flecks of moss green

The timbre of your voice,
The gentleness of your spirit
The complicated, wonderful thing that is your mind

Remembering is all I can do for now
Reality prevents possession
Of what I want the most
