I was a young man, barely mature
Life was everything but secure Planning and thinking was too easy Yet I was allways feeling uneasy I had confidence in my great wisdom But I was always unable to be calm I was wise, that no one can deny Yet, though i don't know why I did all those stupid things We were young, madness fueled kings I dropped out of the smart guys school I went to study simple things for a fool For an easy job and a easy life The only way for me was a wildlife I couldn't settle down, a day home would break me I needed to see people, get wasted to feel free I had to travel, I couldn't stay in one place Couldn't live like a wise man in solace From a party to party, bar to bar I was a young shooting star My potential was to be something great May it be my own fault or just fate With a wise mind and a heart so just I was cursed with wanderlust
