In the Bus
My first poem (as far as I remember), wrote it in a short while as well, not much effort

You were there in the bus
Alone or accompanied
I was too shy to approach
and your silence didn’t encourage
I sat still
Alone
Starring at the parts I could see
of your face
You didn’t notice
You were in your own world
That I could never make out
I was in agony the whole journey
But you didn’t look
Was I invisible?
Then the bus stopped
you had to leave
you saw me
and acknowledged me with a “bye”
That is still
Looping in my mind
