Practice what you preach
or don’t bother to teach. Makes sense to recall these lines well at all. Everybody wants to teach others, making the speech, but when it comes to them; they don’t show a rhythm. To be a preacher, is hard not like living a trump card. The life should be exemplary, caring for all that necessary! Written on 9/4/10 --------------------------------- contentment This is the best time of my life When I stopped searching for happiness, Now I am content. All my life, I have worked, pursued my goals, Attaining success and fame, But more I achieved, I wanted more, Making me competitive, and restless, And was still searching for happiness. As a retired person now, my pace is slower, I am realizing my limitations and reducing my expectations, But feeling satisfied and comfortable with what I have, Instead of chasing after what I don’t have. Time is peaceful and I can do what I want, when I want and how I want, It is with the freedom of choice, I found the happiness within. free verse
