Virolvv was seated on his throne, when TT2-KZ told him somebody wanted to see him. "Let him in," Virolvv said.
A little Kazinite wearing a lab coat stepped into the room. "Lord Virolvv. The gravostaff has been completed. As for the rest of Project ETHF, they are still being tested," the man said.
"I need them now for my next strike on Masiyoshi. How long will they be done being tested?" Virolvv asked.
"Another day," the doctor replied.
"I told you that ETHF was more important than the gravostaff. You have obviously been working on the gravostaff, Tentis. Noynock wouldn't have made this mistake. TT2! Kill him!"
The robot obeyed, firing 3 shots into Tentis's back. He fell over. Virolvv sent a message to Eon and Towo. "Initiate Plan KTK. While you do this, I'll get Noynock out of Earth prison."

Moronobu Kozumi was a retired member of the Japanese Army. Nearing the end of his career, he didn't expect to be living in Mikasa, Hokkaidō. He wasn't complaining though. It was peaceful and made him forget about the wars he fought. He sat on his couch watching the holovision, when there was a sound of breaking glass in his kitchen.
He walked to his closet, and pulled a loaded JP-23 rifle out. Standing near the kitchen with the rifle raised, Moronobu shouted. "Show yourself!"
"You're as stubborn as my master remembered," a voice said.
Moronobu recognized the voice. "Virolvv?"
A man stepped into view of Moronobu. "My name is Eon. Your name is Moronobu Kozumi. Yes?"
Moronobu didn't answer. He just shot Eon through the chest, to no avail. "Blaster shots won't effect me. Your son, Masiyoshi already demonstrated that."
"What do you want?" Moronobu stammered.
Eon's arms were engulfed in flames now. "I was sent to Virolvv to kill you. I figured this would be more fun, but you're easy to read, old man."
Moronobu activated his holorecorder, and tried to send a message to Masiyoshi, but got shot by Eon's fire before he could send the message. On the ground, Moronobu pressed send, and hopefully his son wasn't busy.

Masiyoshi was filing when his holoreceiver bleeped. He checked the message, and saw his father with a familiar face. Soon after, he was shot onto the floor. Masiyoshi rushed to his hovercar.

Virolvv walked up to the prison. Two guards aimed rifles at him. "Stay where you are, Kazinite."
Virolvv lifted the gravostaff that Tentis had finished, lifting the two up into the air. He then moved the staff to his left, slamming the two into a wall. Virolvv then used the gravostaff to pry the prison door open. Several guards stood alert, but were quickly taken out by the powers of the gravostaff. Soon he would free Noynock.

Masiyoshi pushed open the front door to his father's house. He walked over to the living room, where he found his father on the floor. "Father?"
Moronobu made a slight grunting noise. He was alive. Masiyoshi carefully sat Moronobu on the couch. "Why was Eon here?"
"He never said. He was here to help Virolvv."
"You know Virolvv?"
"My father, Sahaji Kozumi was a member of the Kanza. He fought Virolvv several times. The war existed on Kazin back then. It seems that my father's Kazinite resistance was slaughtered," Moronobu said.
"Why is Virolvv attacking us, and what is the Kanza?"
Moronobu sighed. "I hoped you'd never hear about them. The Kanza were a group of criminals led by my grandfather. They decided to mine for minerals on a newly discovered planet where they were stopped by Juhk Vwev, Virolvv's father.
"Vwev threatened to arrest them, so my grandfather shot him, unknowingly that he had shot a major general in the Kazinite army. A war raged on Kazin. I suspect Virolvv is trying to wipe out everybody from the Kanza bloodline."
"But Virolvv is attacking the whole planet, father," Masiyoshi pointed out.
"Virolvv grew up with no father, and his mother was killed in the war. He has nothing; he also wants to get back at us for tarnishing his beautiful planet," Moronobu said.
"You've been to Kazin?"
"Twice. I helped Sahaji in the war several times, but not after my father died, I decided that I shouldn't return. I can give you the coordinates if you need them."
"Right them down then!" Masiyoshi exclaimed.
Moronobu wrote down the coordinates, and then started to cough up blood. Masiyoshi looked at the blood in his father's hand. "Father. Will you be okay?"
"I'm... not going to make it. I warn you... when you face off against Virolvv, do not let your anger overpower you. You will surely die," Morobonu said, beginning to close his eyes.
"Father! Don't die! You and my brother are the only things left in my life after mother died!"
Moronobu's eyes had shut. He had seen his son for the last time.

Udarou Kozumi was the brother of Masiyoshi. He was a technology producer in Tokyo.
He finished assembling a tiny computer, when he heard a pound outside of his office door. Expecting his boss for the daily inspection, he got up, and opened the door. Outside was a person wearing a black and blue cloak.
"Who are you?"
"My name is Towo. I'm here for Virolvv."
"Who's Virolvv?" Udarou asked.
Towo created an ice sword in his hand. "You must not have been paying attention to the news. The Kazinite war waged on a month ago. Now die!"
Udarou quickly reacted, and charged past Towo to the door. He pulled out his cellphone and dialed Masiyoshi's number. "There's a guy attacking me. I assume he knows you."
"I'll be right there."
Udarou slammed himself into a closet, hoping he wouldn't get found by the strange man. He heard the sound of a scream. Towo had taken his first victim, and to the sounds of things, it didn't sound too far away.
Hurry up, Masiyoshi. I don't know how much longer I can stay hidden!

Masiyoshi jumped into his hovercar with his sword and pistol. Is Eon possibly attacking Udarou as well? I can't take the risk of losing another family member, Masiyoshi thought.
In only minutes, Masiyoshi reached the assembly factory where Udarou worked. He slid the sword into its holder, and held the pistol out. He slowly opened the door, and found everybody his brother had worked with, lying bloodily on the floor. They weren't burnt like his father, but impaled.
He heard the sound of a scream upstairs. Masiyoshi ran up the stairs, and saw his brother on the floor, with no left arm. Over him was somebody that should be dead.
"It looks like the party has arrived," the person above Ubarou said.
Masiyoshi fired several times at the man, but to no avail. "No blaster will defeat me," the man said.
"Towo. Release my brother, and let Virolvv take me!" Masiyoshi exclaimed, boldly.
"Virolvv's purpose isn't to kill you, or to imprison you today, Masiyoshi. He wants you to see your beloved family members die. Eon has already demonstrated upon your father, and I will demonstrate upon your brother!" Towo shouted.
Masiyoshi tried running up to Towo in time, but he had already plunged his ice sword into Udarou's stomach. He had tried to behead Towo, but he was too quick, ducking, and running down the stairs. Masiyoshi kneeled next to Udarou.
Masiyoshi cried above him. "Masiyoshi... stop crying and listen," Udarou gasped.
Masiyoshi stopped for a moment. "Masiyoshi. You are the last of the Kozumi bloodline. Take out Virolvv; for your brother and father who were killed by his forces," Udarou said.
"I don't know how. Without you or father, I am a wreck. I can't go on," Masiyoshi sobbed.
"But now you have motivation. Fight through your anger, and kill the ones who killed me," Udarou stated.
"I've fought against only two of Virolvv's four clones, and couldn't figure out how to defeat them. How will I beat the remaining two then?"
"Trust me. During the war, you'll figure out how to defeat anything. Even Virolvv himself," Udarou said, breathing his last breath.

Virolvv had managed to free all the human prisoners in Cell Block A if they promised they would join the Kazinite army, and help him break Noynock out of prison. Noynock was in Cell Block Q, which was located about 1,000 feet underground.
"This prison is a large maze; has anybody ever been to Cell Block Q?" Virolvv asked.
An inmate, Criminal 40228 spoke up. "That's where they hold the worst criminals. People are transferred down there on accounts of bad behavior."
"You were down there?" Virolvv asked.
The inmate nodded. "I attacked a guard."
"Do you remember where the elevator or stairways were located?" Virolvv asked.
"I know where the elevator is, but it requires a guard ID card," the inmate stated.
"I don't think we have to worry about a card," Virolvv said, looking at his gravostaff.

Masiyoshi pulled out his holorecorder, and recorded a message. "Hello, allies of Japan. After minor battles on the Kazinites, I now declare war against them. I will need support from all of you countries. We will attack Kazin in hopes of ending this war soon. I have sent coordinates for the location of Kazin, and our rendezvous. We will meet there."

The leaders of several countries arrived at the rendezvous on Kazin. Masiyoshi looked at the army assembled. There were 200 men from each of the countries, equalling much over 2,000 men, which Masiyoshi expected.
"We will surely be killed on Kazin," Kyu-Hook Bokai, leader of North Korea said.
"Kazin is a disorganized planet of no nation. Virolvv may be Emperor of this planet, but that doesn't mean that that he is strong enough to rule it. I'm sure several Kazinite citizens are going against Virolvv's plans," Masiyoshi explained.
"So where will our target be?" the leader of India, Gafur Kalna asked.
Masiyoshi mumbled some things in Japanese his holo robot. It projected a holographic image of Kazin. Masiyoshi pointed to a large lake. "Virolvv's empire has a base on Lake Pna'ka. We will strike there."
"A giant lake will bring our downfall. We don't have water vehicles with us," South Korean leader, Yong-Jo Ahn said.
"Trust me. I have a way to get rid of those," Masiyoshi said.

Commander Kalin couldn't believe that Virolvv had said he had failed in stopping Masiyoshi. That was why he was sent to guard Fort Vok, along with Yvin, who Virolvv believed accidentally gave Masiyoshi access to the assembling room of the superweapon.
Yvin rushed into the commands fort, where Kalin was seated. "Have you checked the monitors in the past 30 minutes?" Yvin asked.
"No. Why?" Kalin asked.
"I checked the monitors and saw a blank screen. No video at all," Yvin said.
"Has Faroc checked the reconnaissance drones for malfunction?" Kalin asked.
"We sent him out an hour ago, and he still hasn't returned," Yvin replied.
There was a bleeping on Kalin's holoreceiver. He opened the live message. A hologram of Lolcos, who was now referred to as Colonel showed up. "What is the status of the base?" Lolcos asked.
"We have no monitors that are showing video. Something is amiss," Kalin said.
"The reconnaissance drones are idiotic. They crash into trees all the time," Lolcos said.
"Faroc modified them so that they would use infrared sensors to scan the area ahead to make sure they don't do that," Kalin stated.
"That is troubling," Lolcos said. "Send someone out to look."
There was the sound of an explosion outside. Kalin rushed out, and saw 10 hovertanks attacking the forts. "I don't think we need anybody to search."

Virolvv used the gravostaff to pry the elevator door open. After a few prisoners stepped into the elevator, with Virolvv following. He said to the rest of the prisoners, "You stay up here and take out any guards that could come by."
"What about you?" 40228 asked.
"Trust me. I have everything I need to stop a few mere guards," Virolvv replied.
Criminal 40228 nodded in agreement as the elevator went down to the level where Noynock was being held. When the elevator stopped, there were several guards with weapons ready. A man dressed differently than the other guards walked up to them. "It looks like your rescue of Criminal 99121 has failed, Virolvv," the man said.
"I know who you are. Lolcos had given me a very clear description of a Jacob Daniels," Virolvv stated.
"How did he figure out my name?" Daniels asked.
"You were so startled when my men ran after you that you dropped your identification card," Virolvv explained, lifting his gravostaff. At once, every guard and Daniels were lifted into the air. Virolvv quickly slammed all of them up against each other at the far end of the hall.
They quickly got back up and began to fire.

Masiyoshi jumped out of the transport car he had been riding in, with his pistol at the ready. Almost instantly 2 Kazinites began to fire at him. He ducked to the ground, and sprang up, shooting both of them down.
Jan-Dirk Winkler, leader of Germany rushed up to him. "This tactic is suicide! The submarines expected from the enemy have arrived," Jan-Dirk reported.
"I told you I had a way to get rid of those. Have some of your men cover me so I can get to the submarines," Masiyoshi demanded.
Jan-Dirk shouted something in German, and three soldiers came to accompany Masiyoshi. Along the way to the submarines, the 4 were stopped by Yvin. "I figured one day I would finally settle the score with you Masiyoshi!" he shouted, approaching Masiyoshi.
The German soldiers fired at Yvin, but he was too quick, dodging, pulling out a sword, and slashing down all the soldiers. Masiyoshi remained, with his own sword out. "I see you are very fast with the sword. You should have used it aboard the KZD-01," Masiyoshi said.
"You took me by surprise. That shall never happen again!" Yvin exclaimed, as he darted toward Masiyoshi. He dodged, barely in time, entering a swordlock with Yvin. "Why do you still help Virolvv after he sent you to guard a base on Kazin?" Masiyoshi asked.
"You don't need to know my reasons!" Yvin spat, as he attempted to kick Masiyoshi, but Masiyoshi lifted his leg, so that Yvin's was just above his.
Masiyoshi quickly moved his leg up, making Yvin fall into the dirt.
Yvin looked up, to see Masiyoshi's sword raised above his neck. "Kill me! Nothing in this war will have changed; just another life lost and another empty placement in Virolvv's empire!" Yvin shouted.
"No. I will kill you, and it will make a difference. After this battle, there will be several less Kazinites to defeat, including an experienced war sergeant," Masiyoshi said.
Yvin quickly grabbed onto Masiyoshi's arms with his legs. Masiyoshi struggled to lower his blade onto Yvin, giving his opponent the chance to counterattack. With his own sword, Yvin cut off both of Masiyoshi's hands. Masiyoshi, still in shock didn't expect being elbowed in the chin. He fell to the ground, bleeding visciously from his arms. Yvin lowered his sword, and could have beheaded Masiyoshi, but something stopped him. Masiyoshi looked up, and saw a blaster shot wound through Yvin's stomach.
Yvin fell over backwards; Jan-Dirk rushed up to Masiyoshi. "Are you okay?" he asked Masiyoshi.
"Yvin cut off my hands. My way of stopping the submarines won't work without hands," Masiyoshi said.
"We must retreat if you want to get out of this alive," Jan-Dirk stated.
"Issue retreat then!"
Jan-Dirk shouted the word, and most of the Earth forces that weren't already dead retreated into the woods.

Kalin watched the Earthlings retreat. "Should we go after them, sir?" a nearby Kazinite asked.
"No. The main strength we have at this base are our submarines. If we hope to pursue, we'll need reinforcements, which I am not prepared to summon," Kalin replied.
A Kazinite rushed up to Kalin. "We have two major casualties," he stated.
"Go on."
"Faroc, our scout-programmer, and Sergeant Yvin," the Kazinite said.
Kalin pointed to the Kazinite. "Alright then. You'll be sergeant around here. I'll discuss this to Lolcos."
"One more thing sir," the Kazinite said. "We have a wounded Earth soldier in the battlefield."
"Take me to him!"
Kalin was taken over to a human, laying on the ground, clutching a wound near his stomach. The Kazinite lifted him up. Kalin looked at the human. "Why did you not retreat with the others of your species?"
"I am clearly wounded," the man replied.
"What is your name, hostage?"
"James Dickson, leader of the United States."

Virolvv used the gravostaff to reverse the directions of all the gunfire as he progressed down the hall. When he finally reached Noynock's cell, he smashed it open with the vibrostaff. A slim Kazinite walked out. "Noynock. Glad to see you are well after this half-year in prison," Virolvv said.
"Just get me out of this hole!" Noynock shouted.
Virolvv and Noynock rushed back to the elevator, along with the men that came down with Virolvv. They went up, until they reached the top level, and made a run for the outside.

Virolvv was expecting two reports. One from Noynock and one from Kalin. Kalin arrived first. "What is the status of the base, Commander?" Virolvv asked.
"It suffered minor damage."
"What about the battle? Anything important?"
"We lost Sergeant Yvin and Faroc. The enemy retreated into the woods," Kalin said.
Virolvv smiled. "It seems Masiyoshi has finally declared war on Kazin, possibly leaving Earth vulnerable."
"Will I be assisting in this battle?" Kalin asked.
Virolvv looked at him. "No. You should take full responsibility for the loss of Sergeant Yvin."
Kalin was about to protest, but nodded, and walked out of the throne room. Noynock arrived soon after.
"Experimental status?" Virolvv asked.
"We are still working on the technology to complete the superweapon, but we finished Project ETHF. Your two other clones will be introduced during the attack on Earth," Noynock reported.
"Good. Continue work on the technology."

The medical robot attached the second mechanical arm onto Masiyoshi, and then added a tannish substance over the contraption. "This is a substance known as 'false skin'," the robot explained. "It will make it look like you still have human hands, though you don't. Just let it dry over night."
Jan-Dirk was still near the campfire, couting men. He stopped when there was no reply from James Dickson. "The Kazinites have Dickson!" he shouted.
Masiyoshi walked near the campfire. "When it comes to hostages and the Kazinites, the hostage is killed if the Kazinites are being attacked, or if there is no compromise. We'll rest until morning, and then I'll go over to the base myself to free James," Masiyoshi said.
"It won't be as simple as that," Jan-Dirk said, glaring into the campfire.
"I know what I'm doing. You weren't there when I freed 4 child hostages from the KZD-01."

How will Masiyoshi manage to free James?
What will become of Earth if the Kazinites attack?
What powers do Virolvv's other clones possess?
