I’m always searching
but I cannot find,
any solution to get you
out of my mind.

I’m ever thinking, how
we loved, and when.
Was your love as great
as mine was back then?

I can’t believe, after
long years apart.
You still remain here,
deep in my heart.

I try so hard, to drive
old memories away.
The one of you, seems
always to stay.

Of thinking about you,
I try to refrain.
Still harder it gets and
you still remain.

You’re always with me
even when I’m asleep.
Into my dreams,
You slowly creep.

I love another and
to her been true
ashamed of my thoughts
Returning to you.

This thinking must stop
I must be resigned.
all you left me, was a
