The Stone

What an amazing element of our earth it is
Jesus referred to it when speaking to his children on faith
"Build your faith as hard as stone"
Used to sharpen or grind it becomes a welcome tool
Placed in a garden it can add beauty and detail
How relaxing the water makes us feel when running on the stones
As a bridge it can take us across a body of water

In a world with so much turmoil
distress
and division
we continue with the old ways
Who among us is without sin to cast a stone for punishment or death?
What becomes of the other person?
How and who punishes him?
To take a life makes our sin that much greater!

"Truly I say to you,my name has been written on this generation and all of the generations to come."
"And trees will be planted without fruit,in my name,in a shameful manner."
"Priest will stand before the alter and invoke my name."
"They will lead many astry before that alter."

"For to the generations it has been said  "Look,God has received your sacrifice from the hands of a priest - that is a minister of error."
"But it is the Lord who commands, on the last day they will be put to shame."

Who are we to burn a Holy book to bring attention to a cause!?
It only serves to build more hatred and spite
It is sad
Sorrowful to see that as much as we learn from past mistakes we fail to move forward
Our David in a daring act of faith once used a stone to slay an evil giant
Why can't we show our Father in heaven that we can do the same
