Cross Autumn's Threshold
Simple verse about the changing of seasons, maybe a little spash of life's metaphor.

Cross Autumn's Threshold
by
Rooster Roo

Time beats a steady drum
Hear the busy bees hum

Birds had nested
Knights had jested
Let us nobly return
To life on the farm

Sing with me this song
Before all the seasons
Are here and gone

La la la it’s another ball
The hearth crackles
The crystal sparkles
Cold winter does call

Angels and demons wrestle
Bright autumn leaves rustle
Summer's delight is gone
