Happy Birthday
They didn’t invite me, Of course I know why, But that doesn’t mean I’m not gonna try To make an appearance, To stir things a bit And make it a party They’ll never forget. They think they can shun me, That people don’t know, But like that big pimple Their blemish will show. I know that they’re certain They’ve witnessed my worst, But just let them push me – I promise; I’ll burst! I needed a costume To blend with the crowd So tight pants and bright shirt Would not be allowed! The palace had guidelines For that kind of thing And who dared to challenge The queen and the king? I borrowed a ball gown And looked like Snow White. Believe me; Prince Charming Was nowhere in sight. I entered the palace My mask set in place To wait for the moment To unveil my face. But somehow I softened I couldn’t go through. I had to abandon What I planned to do. At least on her birthday I couldn’t be mean To this party's main guest – My mother, the queen.
