Sunrise

So much is missed by not taking time to see the sunrise.
All the beautiful oranges, reds, blues, and pinks.
Quietly watching birds flying high in the sky
and bunnies sniffing the grasses,
Squirrels scampering in the trees and the birds
singing sweet songs to the heavens while
Listening to the gentle whistling of the wind in the trees.
I wake up early so I can sing praises to my God
and thank Him for such beauty.
What a glorious way to start a day
with untold adventures ahead of us
