a poem for the ten lines contest...

Peanut Butter and Jelly

a spatter and paint caresses
sides of whole grain while
my nephew dances into

my dad's leg, "hold on one
second!" he sticks to his leg
like the ends without crust.

my nephew now sits in a
green booster chair, and
bounces gooey food smiles-

both of them loving lunch time.
