Written for "HONORING OUR VETERANS

Let Freedom Ring

Freedom is a basic right
Given to every man.
Endowed on us at birth by God,
Defended across the land.

A right bestowed in loving grace,
A privilage that some deny,
Oppressing those weaker than they,
Oh where is the angry cry?

Those of us that God has blessed,
With freedom that is secured,
Should rise and start the battle call
Where liberty is not ensured.

Let freedom ring throughout the world
For tyranny has no place,
In a world designed by God,
The creator of every race.

Let's stand together one and all,
Against oppressions might,
Supporting the men and women
Who carry forth the fight.

Our defenders go into battle,
Their lives in danger every day,
Facing freedom's enemies,
They bravely pave the way.

And when they hear the battered cry
Of oppressions deadly sting,
They selflessly meet the challenge,
Letting freedom ring.
