You see that cauldron by my porch?
It is fresh and clean
Smells like Samhain.

You see my neighbor
arriving from the season?
Deer hide draped around him.

Do we look like
someone you want?

Sure you wish to
"Spread the word" and
"Share the light"
but
I was taught to respect other faiths,
even my neighbors worship of deer blood.

So please go away,
turn around,
and leave.
calmly.

Asking us to be like you,
isn't respecting our faiths.

So I ask again,
to go away.
