I feel him in my bones
Like he were with me, right now at home.
Caressing and cuddling and watching TV.
Yet he’s not and I wonder “oh where could he be?”
This pulsation in my veins, swoon in my head
slow thump in my chest, my wobbly legs.
All evoke this sweet thrill as if spooning in bed,
Yet I lay hear alone and quite baffled instead.
There’s in ache in this place
That is yearning for you,
Anticipation is heartless,
Strong desire is too…
Yet excitement is thrilling,
My dreams are revealing,
My passion is stirred and my flesh is quite willing.
I’m engrossed in this quest
So I’ll be at my best
I’ll be sure that it’s you at first sight
With no guess Love’s Interest.
