WDC WRITERS CRAMP 927 FOR 928
New Prompt: Write a story or poem about facing a change within the character's self. COUNT: 17 lines Anger On a Sunny Day I’ve darkened this sunshine with unnecessary anger. Anger bubbling up out of me like unwanted and unscheduled lava. Red-hot lava glowing so intensely that it can’t be touched by anything. Where did this spew come from? Has it been boiling all this time beneath my unnaturally bright and cool veneer— or has it surged new, raw from unmet needs, unaddressed unhappiness, my inconsolable me.. Most significant for my survival, How can I make it stay away for good, protecting all my future sunny days?
