The Breeze

Love came, a whispered breeze,
A gentle rustling of leaves,
Building slowly to assault my heart,
A crescendo threatened to tear me apart,
If it were not a part of me,
A persistant storm I can not flee.
The storm calms and I glide with the leaves,
Caught in the ever swirling breeze.
I find you there, warmed by the sun,
Our hearts pounding, beating as one.
Our souls united with a passing glance
Joined together in eternal dance,
Together we soar among the clouds,
Then dive, to play among the boughs.
Bending and swaying with the trees,
Forever now a part of the breeze.
