Cast No Stones
Through your eyes you see me demented; you see only the mistakes I've made. You do not see the pain endured, or the savage prices paid. You do not see my tears at night nor the pain I feel each day; you do not wake up to darkness, so who are you to say? I see through my heart; I get lost in all the turns. I feel the razors edge waiting and I feel the heat of the burns. I cry my tears at night, alone. I wake to darkness taunting me. I get walked upon like the earth; you do not see my misery. So do not hand down judgement from your happy little throne; you have your mistakes, I'm sure; Be not the first to cast a stone.
