Generational Ship
A trip into space Could freeze us solid because it’s vacuum Distant voices speak From where we started Expecting reply Going somewhere far In a light speed craft Must save our species Jarring dreams plague us Like hibernating Dead or sleeping crew Relativistic Travel aged our past Long since turned to dust Reanimating Hope for the new world Humanity lives
