She Did Running in the darkness; finally I'm not. Wondering absent times I'd known about. Thoughts of what I'd seen, what I'd said, and what I'd been. Dreamed the dream those clouded dark days before; Dreams never lived, never loved, darkness ensured. A sounding restlessness, absent her breath of love; She held my scarred hand, my beaten self as a man, Eagar support she shows to me, touching who I am. Darkness engulfed that dark running space Warmed with her grace I dreamed her in this place, Giving soft light, so cold darkness drains clean. Holding my hand like she cares who I am Turning the light on for me. Gone from the dark, gone free, now I start; The light is on, what should I do? I'll get washed and clean, and trim my beard too, Press my trousers, and shine my shoes. I'll try and look handsome for she. She is beautiful in the light to see; The cold darkness was unkind to me. Her eyes, her hair, her whole body God's grace, She knows of my power, pain's battles wage grace.
