                   I've wondered how it was
                   you could speak
                   and know my name
                   whispered in unknowing
                   rang a chord
                   I heard the same
                   as once I did
                   another place
                   though muffled by the veil
                   was spoke as tears
                   were falling
                   another telling
                   now to tell

                   I've wandered
                   waiting (torn apart)
                   for pieces to return
                   thought erased in
                   coming back
                   new reason to be learned
                   I've grown impatient
                   leaving
                   tis only love I understand
                   the part of us
                   familiar
                   as lines
                   across my hand

                   as longing
                   was a heartbeat
                   memories of letting go
                   no different now
                   than when we loved
                   did parting make it so
                   would make again
                   the choice
before the flesh could ever cool
                   believing love immortal
                   would prove of death
                   a fool

                   I've wondered when
                   the time was right
                   have chose and chosen well
                   breathed with breath
                   forgotten now
                   in darkness woke the bell,
                   broke the seal of dreams
                   was given
and held to truth (so dear)
                   beyond this veil of
                   wondering
                   (the voice the love)
                   I hear
