Hello: It is autumn and the leaves on the tree are changing colors. I have stuffed black cats{one that dances to the tune of Black Magic Woman}, scary Halloween carousel, stuffed Frankenstein monster that dances sitting on a table cloth with pumpkins, on a card table, orange ceramic pumpkin candle, black cats and witches on the table cloth on the dining room table and I have pumpkins on the steps and next to the house. Yes! This is Halloween! I love it! With that in mind, Angel and I are going to write about our favorite Halloween movies. Want to get started? Angel is up first.

Hello Everybody! I hope you are ready for Halloween. Make sure you get lots of candy for those wild kids and plenty of it or you will wake up with toilet paper all over your property. I love Halloween especially watching those kids wearing their favorite costume. Enjoy your Halloween! Wishing you a fantastic Fall. Big Hugs Always: Angel

Angel: My favorite Hallowen movie is this wonderful Antimation Movie: MONSTER HOUSE. I have watched that four times. I hope they show it again. It is a cute scary movie. Parents need to know this is a scary movie and the last twenty minutes in particular, take a turn for the dark. With windows like eyes and a flying carpet that unfurls tongue-like out the front door to scoop up trespassers, the house is wonderfully alive structure. It's creepy. You don't want your kids waking up in the middle of the night feaked out afraid that their house is going to eat them. Most of the PG content comes from the scariness. There are very few crude jokes and language issues. The kids are in constant peril and they aren't exactly role models. They break and enter, steal cough medicine, operate heavy machinery and use sticks of dynamite. Likewise, the adults in this movie are creepy-not just Old Man Nebbercracker but also the uninterested babysitter and detached parents.

Megan: I have a lot of Halloween movies I love but I will narrow it down to a few. Here goes.

TWILIGHT MOVIES: TWILGHT, NEW MOON, ECLIPSE. I love the vampires, wolves, romance, beautiful woods, Native Americans, Edward, Jacob, Bella and all the characters are great. Even the mean Volturi vampire family. I love them, too. Edward and Jacob. They didn't make guys that good looking when I went to High School! Bella's soul mate is Edward but she loves Jacob, too. I love Jacob the best! I love bad vampires fighting werewolves and the good vampires and werewolves win. I love that the Native American teens turn into wolves and not a wolf man. Though I love Lon Chaney in the WOLFMAN but people shift changing into wolves, yes that is more like it! The romance scenes between Bella and Edward are sweet and the romance scenes between Bella and Jacob are heart breaking. She should choose Jacob! The music used in the movies and special affects are great. The sweet Cuellen Family. They can adopt me and make me a vampire anytime. If you are a Twilight fan, you know what I am talking about. The TWILIGHT SERIES give vampire movies a whole new meaning. I love them.

VAN HELSING: Hugh Jackman. Isn't he handsome? He kills vampires, werewolves and creatures of the dark. I love Count Dracula in this movie. He looks like Ozzy Osbourne's brother and he walks up walls.He has three beautiful wives and I love them. Anna, the gypsy Princess who has been fighting them for years, gets my sympathy. Van Helsing turns into a werewolf and kills Anna in the end, well that is sad. She got the syringe with the formula that cures the werewolf curse{she had to fight one of Dracula's wives to get it} and Van Helsing gets the shot and is cured. Dracula and his wives get killed and Frankestein is so nice and he gets his freedom thanks to Van Helsing. Van Helsing is really the angel, Gabriel. I love the action and scenery in this movie. Flying vampire baby bats, spooky Translyvania people, the vampires, Dracula's castle, Anna's castle, Frankenstein, this is a movie full of adventure and one to love. I hope you agree.

CASPER. I love this movie about a friendly ghost that falls in love with a teen-age girl who lives at his house with her father and his three annoying ghost uncles. This movie was cute and I wouldn't mind living in a somewhat spooky mansion but his uncles would have to go. I love when Casper became a human boy for a few hours with the help of the girl's ghostly mother. Casper gave up his dream to be human with the special formula his father had made to save the girl's father who had become a ghost. The formula made the father human again. This movie is so sweet.

DARK SHADOWS SERIES. The spook opera of the late 60's and early 70's. Ghosts, witches, scary story lines, a rich family, haunted mansion and the vampire Barnabas Collins. Fantasy, every spook possible including werewolves and Frankenstein. I love this series. I also love the spooky movie NIGHT OF DARK SHADOWS that was about Quentin Collins{a favorite ghost}, his wife Daphne, the mean beautiful witch Angelique who was Quentin's lover in the past}, a spooky mansion and poor Quentin had no memory that he had lived before. Angelique got him back in the end while his wife Daphne is screaming in the end realizing that Quentin no longer knows her and she comes face to face ghost of Angelique. Quentin's cousin and her husband are killed in a mysterious car crash as they leave town. This is spooky and I love it. Oh! Have you heard? Johnny Depp is playing Barnabas in the new DARK SHADOWS movie next year. Everyone knows how I love Johnny Depp! He can play any character. We know that. My fantasy life is complete!

VAMPIRE DIARIES SERIES: Damon, the handsome vampire who is evil but hey he has a heart! Stefan, his brother, his human girlfriend Elena, the witch Sarah, werewolves, the evil vampire Catherine who looks like Elena who turned both Damon and Stefan make for a great story and series. Damon and Stefan were turned into vampires during the Civil War both loved Catherine and now love Elena. This series has some of the same elements of TWILIGHT but I love it.

THE WORST WITCH. This cute movie was about a little witch girl Mildred Hubble who was failing classes at the Witch Academy. She couldn't fly a broom right and she got a tabby cat instead of a black cat to be her companion. Mildred caused all the young witches to crash at an important ceremony to impress a VIP Warlock. Mildred took her cat and flew away to an island where she met the Head Principal's sister and her band of witches who planned to take over the school. Mildred turned them into snails and flew back to the school with the snails and told the Head Principal of the plan and became a hero. She got to fly with the VIP Warlock and became a great witch. Cute movie for children with some good comedy.

TOPPER. An old black and white comedy movie where a young woman{Joan Blondell} is killed and comes back as a ghost and gets Topper, a lawyer to help solve her murder. The murder happened at a neat mansion that is somewhat spooky. A nice black man sees ghostly happenings and falls through a trap door under the house, more then once, lands in the water and a seal bites him and keeps pushing him in the water. It is cute. The murder gets solved but at first you think it's the butler or the maid. It turns out Joan Blondell's girl friend she was with was supposed to be murdered. Joan Blondel's characterl and her friend exchanged rooms and Joan's character got murdered. The friend's father was the murderer and it turns out he wasn't really her father . A car drives itself and it is just full of comedy. A must see!

These are some of my favorite Halloween movies. I hope you will like to see them or already love them.
