Brown and orange, and green and gold, A lovely painting to behold! Beautiful shades--I love them all! These earthy tones-colors of fall. Leaves are turning on the trees; They twist and swirl now in the breeze. Harvest’s bounty is now ripe Causing a seasonal hype. Perfect pumpkins, ears of corn On neighbor’s porches, do adorn. Here and there are old scarecrows On guard in fields among the rows. There’s a nip now in the air, Autumn’s signs are everywhere! Enjoy before they disappear; Not to return before next year.
