No Ending so Great
Rated: E | Poetry | Relationship | #1716510
No love so unending.
It was the immensity of your intensity
That immediately drew me in
And there was a propensity toward catastrophe
But I didn't care enough not to begin

I was simply lost in your rapture
Caught up in some heavenly gaze
Time lost its track for a while
And the moments lasted for days

I don't care what we cannot be
I don't care what the world says we are
I want the warmth of your presence
I long for the strength of your arms

It seemed to me that worth would be
What we define in our sublime affair
No ending suffered, no raw, real pain
Ever could cause me to care

For the ending could not be as awesome
No separation is ever as great
As the love that I feel, even now as I reel
Even to this very day
