What Is Love? What is Love? I want to know, Describe it to me please. Is it mindlessness and longing? Is it shaking at the knees? I don't expect an answer, But would welcome any views. Is love just liking what you see? Are soul mates just a ruse? I ask because I've had the bug, And aptly call it so, It's passion and it's hunger, One might say it's quite the show. But is it just dependency, A pair of shoes that fit? Perhaps it beats the single life, And fire flames when first lit. I wonder is there such a thing. Is love another word? Perhaps it's creature habit, No, it's heaven - so I've heard.
