women break easily time after time it's the one that is leaving we miss (by design) a lifetime of struggle which fight do we choose fighting to love or fighting to lose I've wondered so long why love feels this way tears for no reason and nights melt away where truth used to swim sheets sweated by word couldn't be more (we wanted much more) than silence (the answers) we heard what evermore waited now settles for this a moment forgotten the taste of a kiss I do what I do and he does what he will the same was good sometimes (a memory still) we fell into something no longer the same yesterday fated to shadows (and no one to blame) what we couldn't know we've learned to ignore what's the point when we don't touch the same as before forever is left being broken (wondering where the ending begins) just the way we remembered the moon as hands holding soft (was that love) breaking in
