My Safe Harbor
A poem about love; a gentle rain on a tranquil sea.

A sapphire ocean spills gently onto the shore.
Are you my safe harbor to claim?
Golden sun rays stream over a ship's deck.
Sweet breezes whisper your name.

Devotion breathes easy and free
flowing across amourous skies.
You call to me from seas.
I sail to ride your waves.

Satin skies, a thousand luminous lights.
Whimsical pillows are fantasy to dream upon.
Our souls illuminate the nights.
Eternal love knows no end.

All the lights of Christmas,
unwrapping your body a hundred ways.
We fall in love each season,
years slip by with pleasure, joy and play.

All grow old and gray, but you and I
refuse to simply fade away.
Two joined stars blaze across the sky
people will stare and be amazed.
