Despair
It's about physical pain and wanting it to be over.

The bands across my chest,
Draw ever tighter,
As I fall deeper,
Into the sinkhole of despair.

There is no escape,
No release from this madness,
This nauseous pain,
The bands grow tighter.

Oh, for the end to come,
In whatever form,
For this is Hell on earth,
What's life worth?

My stomach churns,
My inside burns,
The earth swallows me whole,
My soul is not my own.

A voice calls from outer darkness,
As I step over the edge,
There is no retrieving innocence,
Ever falling without end.
