the soft autumn wind

quietly,    calmly
         comfortingly
crisp colors of red and blazing orange
        float to the ground

down,
         down,
                   down
silently they rest among the crunchy outcasts

a yellow bus comes and goes, goes and comes
         then comes          and          goes
a leaf falls
