“Henry?” The wall of the cave is cool to the touch. “Henry?” she repeats. Her other hand reaches forward, blindly guiding through the darkness.

“I’m here.” The voice is not far behind her.

“Oh Henry, I was so scared! I can’t see a thing.”

“Do you have it?”

She wipes her forehead dry. “Yes. Come here, darling.”

“I’m right here.”

“Come closer.”

“Let’s go, dear, I’m catching up.”

She sighs. “Okay.” She shuffles forward, chewing her bottom lip. “Do you think—“

“What?”

“Do you think what we did was wrong?”

“It’s fine” his voice echoes back.

“It feels wrong.” His footsteps reverberate through the cave. “Henry maybe you should lead.”

“I’ll be right here, keep moving.”

“But I can’t see a thing.”

“Me neither.”

Her shuffling pauses. “Henry?”

“Yes?”

“Do you think he would have done the same to us?”

“Probably.”

“Probably?”

“It’ll be worth a fortune. You have it though?”

“I said I do. You don’t feel bad at all?”

“Can you show it to me?”

“What’s with you?” She puts one foot blindly in front of the next.

“Just show me.”

“Henry it’s pitch black.”

“Fine.”

Moments pass in silence. “I love you…” More silence. She gasps. “I see light! Henry we made it!” Her shuffling grows more confident as light fills the cave. “Come, darling!” She turns around. “Come on Henry!”

His footsteps fall faster from the thick darkness. “I’m coming!” His silhouette forms.
She gasps and drops the treasure. “You’re not Henry.”
