New Prompt: A call to a pest control officer for assistance with a rodent infestation has an interesting outcome.
HIRED AND PROUD! We called up the friendly bug guy cuz we saw a big mouse— and made a sudden appointment to let him see our house. He said that we have LOTS of them; and that he had no choice but needed, quick, to hire us! For that we can rejoice! Although we are just a small herd of housecats on the prowl, We really are good hunter-cats, and we do more than yowl. The time came for the hunt to start, And we were set to go— But then some of the younger ones Got scared and just said “no!” Now, what’s this world a comin’ to With cats too scared to hunt! We should have known it anyway, Cuz Ripley was our runt! She’s only grown to half the size of all the rest of us— so all that she does really well is just put up a fuss! But we’re still happy to be picked to catch those mice, so fat; we’ll hunt them down and catch them ALL— we’re motivated cats!
